News - Obstacle detector for blind users in wheelchairs
Over the past weeks, we've started to test biped with several visually impaired users who sit in wheelchairs. We soon realized that there was a need for a simple obstacle detectors that works hands-free. We're officially launching the world first obstacle detector for blind and visually impaired people who sit in wheelchairs!
From "Profile" in the biped app, go in "height" and select "I sit in a wheelchair". The experience will remain similar to the regular biped experience, but obstacles above the user height will be safely ignored to provide more relevant feedback.
